Well, it's not just about the "Hunt". It's about having a fun-filled day with Friends, Neighbors, and Colleagues, learning about Delray Beach and its local businesses, while supporting and raising money for Education.

THE BENEFICIARIES!

The majority of proceeds benefit Education Initiatives, specifically:

  • Help fund our commitment for the Council for Educational Change Grant (The Annenberg Foundation Grant) awarded to Carver Middle School that supports organizational and personal leadership initiatives

Team of 5 (max): $150
* Each team needs an iPhone or an Android-based phone, ScanLife QR-code reader installed, a car and a valid drivers License.

THE PRIZES!

Ok, we know everybody loves prizes, so this year the three teams with the best scores will get awesome Medallions, a coveted Trophy, plus the recognition of all the participants.

THE LOCATIONS!

So you think you know Delray Beach? Then prove it! The Scavenger Hunt this year will include more Clue Stop locations than ever. The map below shows the area of the adventure.

THE RULES!
  • Each Team can have a maximum of 5 people and must stay together at all times
  • Each team must have
    • A car
    • An iPhone or Android-based phone, ScanLife QR-code reader installed
    • Driver with a valid Driver's License
    • Team Captain (must be responsible for Registration - picking up team goodie bag, clue list, and confirming team member's liability releases have been submitted.)
  • Teams must check in at the Elk's Lodge between 2:00 - 2:30 p.m.
  • At 2:45 pm - Announcements will be made and Clue List will be distributed
  • 3:00 - 6:00 pm - Seek DELRAY BEACH!
  • Each Clue Stop will have a value ranging from 5 - 50 points (hints provided upon check in).
    • Teams must scan QR codes at each location to receive the points.

    • The team with the most points at the end of the Hunt wins!
    • 6:00 pm - Final Check point - Must Scan QR Code as final clue stop at the Elk's Lodge.
  • The Seek in the City Delray Audit Committee “The Heckler” will verify that teams are following the Rule throughout the event.
THE SCHEDULE!

Kick Off & Awards Ceremony is at the Delray Beach Elks Lodge, 265 NE 4th Ave

  • 2:00 – Check In / Announcements & Rules / Clues distributed
  • 3:00 – 6:00 – Scavenger Hunt throughout Delray Beach
  • 6:00 – Teams return, Check In, Storytelling and Snacks & Beverages served
  • 6:30 – Awards Ceremony
